I will try to resurect this old project of mine, with renewed ideas and vigour!
So i begin with adding some new concept art.
The updated pic of the "Cyborg warrior caste elite" aka preatorian.
Massive update according to me, will be a pain to sculpt but hey, who said it would be easy.
I also made a bunch of gas masks. Which one is best? I personally like 2,5,9. The one in the pic above is 7.
Also which tech pack (the box the hose is attached to) is the best?
Note that number 3 didn't get my idea through very good, it is supposed to look like no skin or muscle on the lower jaw, and the hose is attached through the bottom of the jaw into the skull.
And i've got some ideas for a product line. Additions to the cyborg force here on troll forged.
It will consist of. Tech deacon, a preacher of a technological god, a guy with a nice scepter or something, and robes.
Doom tech, mechanical monstrosity, much like the pic made by wormwood above. Cyborg warriors with heavy cybernetic weapons and the like. Very cool.
Tech knight, a guy with heavy armour, some robes and a nice big close combat weapon, strangely similar to a techpriest. Halberd or sword was the first ideas here.
Cyborg warrior caste soldiers. Guys with guns and armour and robes, skitarii regulars.
Cyborg warrior caste elites. The guys i'm doing now, heavy breed of cyborg warriors.
I even planned to give this "completely new idea" for a force some background and some custom names.
In the future perhaps even make some demonically possessed versions of theese guys. Becouse i think they would sell good
So C & C, welcome. Good or bad ideas i have? Is it far to similar to gw? Is it to bad ideas to sell well? Are you super annoyed that i brought up an ancient thread? Anyone interested in joining in making something?

To improve your drawing i'd suggest you read up on human proportions, currently your figures look about 4-5 heads tall. a heroic scaled figure should be more like 7.5-8 heads tall
I think what ice is saying (and certainly what i'm saying) is that the drawings are pretty derivative. given the scope that the subject of 'cybernetically augmented warrior caste' allows you could really push things into new areas. i mean the tech deacon looks more deacon than tech...
as cooky as it sounds you kind of need to transcend your inspiration. rather than copying conversions of Ad mech stuff other people have done try to make the ideas your own.
I dont think an entirely bionic head is the way to go. try blinging up his costume, you know how religious types like showmanship and fancy dresses...erm robes.
as for drawing figures. each time try to identify where and how you've gone wrong. is it too tall and skinny? too short and fat? are the proportions out? where are they out?. next time try to concentrate on getting the issue right. repeat ad nauseum (this is the most important part, practice makes perfect)
the ability to take criticism and identify weak points in your own work are two big things you seem to have going for you. the biggest thing is to keep going and keep looking for ways to improve
I updated the deacon sketch. And made a tech knight.
No that is not his ears.
As you can see i did a slight change in design philosophy It is for the better, although still not very innovative, it's way better than the last! The knight's head is not that good, and his proportions are lacking. But otherwise i can create power armour rather well i think.
