On casting, I thought that lacquer primer works for casting? Zluca primes most of his works before casting (if only to sand out the flaws). Eve nseen people using filling primer to smooth out flaws and then cast... might be a different mold material though.
I'll continue to look into ways to fix the surface of these!

Paint will work. The first few casts come out with paint but after it peels it's good. The issue is to get it smooth enough it would require a lot of paint and there are small details, like bolts, you can't see. The main issue I'm having is trying not to get gate on parts of the figures arms, there are the only issue really.
I decided to cut the gates larger, which drives me nuts beyond belief but is the only thing I can do. I cast about 8 more for your Technoscream and will begin finetuning the sets from here. You might end up with a full set of everyone and about 30 sets of mix matched good and bad parts! I don't care because you will put them to good use.

A few wouldn't go amiss if sent my way. Just the other day I was looking for some specific, if funky, minis and ended up finding my own conversions and sculpts through google since there simply aren't many in the niches I go for.
I will have TFM (minis and name) pasted on every corner and signpost of the Interweb.
And that BOT DOWN! shot is brilliant.

It's a shame the surface wasn't smoothe enough as they are very nice figures. I could see them looking good as white with bits of blue on them.
That is actually a colour scheme I am seriously considering. White armour, sliver pipes/details, metallic blue ball joints. Hmm...
Also, although it will take some serious work, I havent totally given up on these as a product, I am considering ways to improve the surface detail, even manually sanding each tiny detail - i'm working on other stuff right now, but its on the list.
