I haven't used my digital camera in about 18 months or so, so I'm charging it right now.
Anyways, here is a imgur gallery containing a photo of my camera rig (taken with my cell phone), and a scan of one of my miniature photographs from GenCon 2001, its a Jen Hailey piece. My camera back then was a film camera, but I still have that kickass nikon macro lens, and a much better flash now.
Coulda sworn imgur would let me rotate them once uploaded. Whoops!
Also, they are a hair blown out because I didn't step the flash intensity down. These are quick and dirty pics I took before going to bed. Normally, I'd take few test shots, and then adjust the flash settings, but I wanted to get something up before tomorrow.
I also painted both figures, and I make terrain as well.
At the moment I'm probably going to be doing the photos since I also do the website and I have specific requirements. I'm thinking about a Canon 600D and macro lens (I like Canon's remote shooting software). However your offer is generous and I would like to include more people in the TFM stable.
When you get a chance can you take some shots with your full setup - front, back, left, right, top, 'pack shot', scale shot (ruler)
How dedicated to the idea of painting TFM miniatures are you?
