Once more we dedicate more attention to the AFG. From threads on their background and design we now also have one for their presence in a game of Warspike...
I get ya.
As a rough guess I would say Stature:7 with some heavy status mods. Mentality is low, probably psychotic, so 1-2 or even negative - though this does not matter as their would be VR special rules. The Action is going to be pretty good, say 7 or 8 with some heavy mods in their Repertoire. Reason is going to be pretty standard, say 6, but implants will seriously boost knowledge in certain areas like warfare - tactics and strategy.
Sounds good to me. I thought that Stature: 6 meant a human who is 6 feet tall right? I assume the AFG is based on your concepts of the Space Marines. If I'm not mistaken they were 8 feet tall, so wouldn't a Stature: 8 be more fitting then?
As for the Reason stat, I always seem to confuse that one with Mentality somewhat. Wouldn't Reason go down very low once they turn all enraged and psychotic? Sure they can be quite bright when it comes to tactics, strategy and such, however...once tearing apart their enemies with their bare hands these guys would turn totally psychotic, so yes very low Mentality, but the Reason would be turned off during those moments.

I was thinking of more RT era marines, 7'-7'6", but 8 is not a problem if you prefer.

A psychotic person who is not delusional often has plenty reasoning ability. Being psychotic does not lower intelligence, but it does alter the direction the intelligence take the person. Serial Killers often have very high intelligent, yet are psychotic. Some soldiers/mercenaries can be exceptionally bright and cunning yet utterly ruthless. In this particular case the 'psychotic' bit means they do not mind killing and feel no way about it (when it's a person in their way).
The AFG are good at fighting, they really go for it with killer intent, but a lot of their belief in their abilities is their belief in their own intelligence and cunning.
However - to contradict myself, if Mentality is negative like -1 or -2, means they are not 100% in control, and they may act in ways that will put them in silly situations and could be thought of as stupid. In these cases they may use their intelligence to avoid scenarios where they are at a disadvantage or can be provoked into doing someone stupid. This can lead to them being 'control-freaks' and probably a lot more 'black-ops'.
For example - A group of AFG with Mentality:-1 are not going to take on peace keeping missions, body guard mission, or anything with any sense of control for prolonged periods of stress. They will go for hunter-killer style assassination squads in a heart beat - and really enjoy their work.
This is all handled in the psychology section of WarSpike, and 'metal illness'.

Assassin with beard punch..... could not resist.
In all honesty I have a uncle who worked out with Bruce Lee years ago in CA and met Chuck. One of the nicest people you would ever meet. He told me that because Bruce was soooo bad Chuck just never got the credit he deserve.
Seems to happen a lot at times.
That said is height a factor on toughness? I know big ad tough etc. but never understood the idea of huge 7' tall fighters. Some of the best toughest out there were short and stealthy in history. The biggest you hear of is goliath and well, we know where that went.
