I love those worm things. I saw them over on Minisculpture as well. Seriously, those are fantastic. My preference would be to stay away from the nurgle horn. I have no idea what these would proxy for (don't play 40K), but they are so strong on their own that I think the nurgle horn would just make them weaker. Please hurry up and finish the arms so you can get these cast. I am really excited about these.
Thanks a lot Gallahad. Thats really nice of you. I'll get the arms done as soon as I have the time. I've just come home from an all-weekend wargaming event I arranged, so I'm a bit exhausted. I'll get to work as soon as possible, I promise
Revlis: What do you mean the detail's been eaten up? On the photo, or the sculpt itself?
Actually I haven't used greenstuff on these latest sculpts. I use an aprox. 50/50 mix of super sculpey and URO. The putty is very soft and easy to attach to the existing sculpt. I use 99% isopropyl alcohol and a brush for smoothing.
I just ordered a batch of the new beesputty from Masq-mini. Very excited to try it out!

Here's an update. I'm not sure if i'm satisfied with the arms. The insect arms seems perhaps a bit too Tyranid like, and they are too large compared to the concept. The 'human' arms are also large, but looks a bit better I think. What do you think?
