There's some important NPCs in the game that are detailed in an out-of-print book called Condemned. I'll try and put a list together of who is in it and I can post it here to see who's interested. Off the top of my head, two important ones would be Markuus (Mutzachan) and Jaquassarious Phentari. These NPCs get used in games as people that often hire the players once they get more experience.
Those would be cool, cause players could use them as generics too. Flipfriddle, How is this thing going to go down? are we going to amass a bunch of castable sculpts for your approval and then Ed troll forge will cast them for you? Just curious. I'd like to send my three finished ones to Ed but am wondering what/when that's appropriate and/or time.

Currently I would leave those decisions up to Ed. I'm acting more as an Art Director at this point. Anything you guys make right now is awesome for me. The mere fact that we may have some miniatures for our game and for our customers to buy again is fantastic. I'm not telling our customers anything about it yet, until you guys have some stuff you are happy with and have turned over to Ed. Then I'll turn em loose. One thing I think will help Ed and you guys out is that some of our stuff will probably be useable in other sci-fi games which should give the minis a broader appeal. Plus the game is so deep, we can come up with anything.

I know in the games we play (and our main playtesters) that we always do. Since so much of the combat is at a distance and line-of-sight, and there are often lots of things going on at once, I find it's always easier to use minis, even though there aren't (nor are there plans for) miniatures rules.
i posted a poll with this question on our forums. I'll post the results here in a week or so.
